"Separately, the vaccine that you have to take over and over and over in order for it to work, is somewhat reminiscent of single ply toilet paper (see previous newsletter where I compared it to a combover). I’m waiting for a quilted double ply vaccine that works."

Wait, am I to understand that if you encounter a facility that offers only single ply toilet paper, you forego the use of toilet paper entirely?

In your honor, I am going to find just the right emoji combination for this visual picture you have created.

The vaccines prevent death from coronavirus, so all the excess deaths among the vaccinated must be due to something besides the virus. Hmm . . . what do all vaccinated people have in common that could negatively impact their health?

Duration seems to be your missing variable.

Omicron infects other people easily, so you will see 1) more cases per day and 2) a shorter period where it goes though the population, as it runs out of people to infect. This also implies that you will see higher daily deaths though for a shorter period of time.

I am not sure duration is all the explanation we need, but it will get you some of the way.
