Love it, Kev. Yep, not only do these useless cretins work for us, but every Senator and Rep who is paid $170 K per year but lives in a multi-million dollar house ( or 2 or 3) is putatively a grifter and felon and should be slow walked to the gibbet with their severed head left on a lamp post as a reminder.
I didn't vote for Adams, but I kind of like him. He's saying what needs to be said. Housing the great unwashed is too expensive. I want to know why the F my hard-earned money is going to house these grifters when I arrived in NYC with a pile of cash in my money belt, a perfect credit rating, and no one would give me a damned bank account. Then I can't afford health insurance, go to Bellevue, and see the great unwashed sitting there all pregnant with their anchor babies, while I know they're going to ream me to foot their bills. Then come tax time, after being threatened with a knifing by a student at one job, I end up paying in NY State tax everything I earned teaching that god forsaken class. Meanwhile, the fire and police departments are kept busy by these people-- picking their drunk asses up from off the pavement in my local park and driving them first class to the hospital, where their "care" comes from my tax dollar, but if I show up they'll turn me away if I don't have the correct insurance card.
Adams. He's a former cop. During the height of George Floyd mania, an infant was slain in gang crossfire across the street from where I live. (I mentioned this on facebook and got mass unfriended, as if I'd done the slaying of this perfect brown child). Anyway, Adams was there, appealing to the "community" TO STOP KILLING EACH OTHER.
Then I get on social media where all of my "friends" are insisting that white people are killing these people.
Anyway, Adams has turned out to be all right, in my book. And I like his newsletters. They're homey and beaming with pride for this god forsaken "sanctuary city."
Eric Adams is a grifter but half the time he does the right thing. I'm not sure it's intentional, but I think it might be, because I can usually guess when he will.
Democrats are like Sith Lords using the force to create conflict. You call it getting past the sale, Obama Maestro David Axelrod called it permission structures. This means accepting as true what you know is palpably false. Democrats and Sith Lords are followers of the prophet Barnum and know there is a sucker born every minute.
Kevin she is living in NYC and likes to socialize in the world. She is not conservative at all. She was given an Order by her superior and she failed to execute it. It wasn’t her job to question the why. Her job was to do it or quit. She could have just quietly quit and gotten a new gig another piece of evidence that says she isn’t a conservative. Also where is here statements expressing outrage over the fake crimes they went after Trump. Again not there.
Your last 2 sentences are EXACTLY what came to mind when I first read about Sassoon. Nobody in the DOJ (from 2008 onward until now) can claim the high ground.
…Muslims control NYC….the colleges…the teachers unions…the NYC dept of Ed…giving support to Hamas ..is a crime of terrorism….why didn't these prosecutors….arrest Muslim terrorists and those who give support to Muslim terrorists….that is the real questions….so the BS…about adams.miss information…..these lawyers need to be investigated for the federal crime of terrorism…..
The criminal justice system is simply criminal.....who ratted who out....does not matter....it was and is a political hit job...each prosecutor was given a job with a prestige lawfirm....but in reality...as lawyers they have lost their integrity.....fyi. Look up these lawyers in new york in 6 months ..nys license and you will find out who they are now working for..each time you change jobs as a lawyer in NY you need to file the new information
Oh yeah they definitely are not principled heroes. They will land on their feet holding bags of cash. I was just under the impression that Sassoon was not the epicenter of the corruption. She seemed more like the Mike Johnson character going along with it.
The DA Has complete discretion as to the charge indictment and lesser included offenses...this prosecutor either does what her boss...says or leaves...she and the other 6? Prosecutor s who quit should actually be suspended or disbarred....and the media...which raised all. Sorts of negative press...really need to be indicted for ???? Yes it's about time that media crimes be enacted
I definitely want to know who alerted prosecutors to this alleged infraction and how long this person knew about it prior to sounding the alarm etc. All of their personal communications should be examined.
Okay I’m not a lawyer. Can you please elaborate? Does this mean the ‘evidence’ was brought to Sassoon and she pursued the indictment, convened the grand jury etc, even though it’s a chicken shit case? I thought it was one of her underlings who she said to go ahead? Either way it’s on her for being naive and ridiculous.
In all likelihood KD?, the FBI was energized by Garland since Adams was previously getting shaky on staying loyal to the Democrat border policy and he was whining too much for the Dems (and the swells on Cape Cod feared he'd bus them some). FBI guys looked into the NSA domestic spying files and found some shit regarding Turkish Airlines and special seats, and Adams, etc. Garland told Adams to STFU. He did not. So the FBI gave Sassoon (wasn't she/he a famous hair stylist? Or a WWI poet or something?) files and Garland told ol' Sassy to indict. Being as she is 100% in favor of treating aliens like best friends, and thought an NYC Mayoral scalp on he belt would be "a career milestone" she/he filed a case. Now with her britches to her knees, she looked for a polite way to distance herself. So, she sought refuge in "ethics", said "look over there, not here". While the media was, in fact, looking "over there", she pulled up her britches, then escaped to the public sidewalks where adoring media could snap adoring photos to accompany their adoring and fawning stories. Some other guy in the office - a guy with a weird name - got jealous, he wrote a whining, snarky, and petulant, errr, I mean scathing resignation letter, harrumphed his way out of the office and then the minor stampede was on. About 5 other spineless, but not completely brainless dudes and dudettes with law licenses in the SDNY office, seeing the tide turning and realizing they would, after all, have a real boss who could tell them what to do - and MEAN IT - and away they went. They are thinking they score big bucks partnerships in Big Law. They prolly will, but then the real sharks, the high priced lawyers truly awesome attorneys in those firms will show them the copy room and say "run me 50 copies of this motion". They will only then realize they screwed the pooch and themselves.
Whoa, I love it that you paired lawyer Sassoon to the the 70's hairdresser but better yet to Sassoon the poet from the 1920's. I love his writings.kudos.
Kevin. Sassoon might be the most republicany of republicans. She also might be a Republican like pastor French or Jonah I laugh at my own jokes because no one else does Goldberg.
Agree. Saw Adam Corolla talking about an interview he did with The Hair Apparent and how government needs to get the big things right. Gavin, in his infinite wisdom, disagreed saying it was the little things he wanted to do.
So while there is the "broken windows" theory on public safety, the fibbies and the DOJ were ONLY on a political witch hunt going after these *crimes* committed by the Right. The weaponization of the legal system and the left's lawfare only needed to be contrasted with how they ignored Build Large Mansions and Auntieflo riots.
See how indoctrinated I am becoming with the ridiculous collaborative speak? It is absolute Satan (D)!
“corpulent torso” is gold. 😂
I think the RevPAR metric and the disgusting reality of what you describe should really be investigated and highlighted. Maybe you should drop in to the DMs of someone with reach.
In re: crimes of the century - check out the book “Three Felonies a Day” by Silverglate. When I worked at law firms, early days of computers, there were people who would spend hours updating the CFR binders. That is Code of Federal Regulations and printed hole punched pages were received weekly as more and more legislation was passed. The binders and shelf space they took up was immense. I’m sure it is all electronic now. Perhaps if it had stayed hard copy people would have noticed and said ‘This has to stop, it is insanity.’ It is added to or modified, never is anything taken out.
Edit: I just did a quick search. The CFR was less than 72,000 pages including index in 1975. Last count in 2021 was over 200,000 pages. Willing to bet that since then it might have doubled or more.
The average professional in this country wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day. Why? The answer lies in the very nature of modern federal criminal laws, which have exploded in number but also become impossibly broad and vague. In Three Felonies a Day, Harvey A. Silverglate reveals how federal criminal laws have become dangerously disconnected from the English common law tradition and how prosecutors can pin arguable federal crimes on any one of us, for even the most seemingly innocuous behavior. The volume of federal crimes in recent decades has increased well beyond the statute books and into the morass of the Code of Federal Regulations, handing federal prosecutors an additional trove of vague and exceedingly complex and technical prohibitions to stick on their hapless targets. The dangers spelled out in Three Felonies a Day do not apply solely to “white collar criminals,” state and local politicians, and professionals. No social class or profession is safe from this troubling form of social control by the executive branch, and nothing less than the integrity of our constitutional democracy hangs in the balance.
Looks like it was first published in 2009; so democracy was hanging in the balance when Obama was first in office? Wild.

KD + BM !
When I don’t see a KD? newsletter for too many days, I always wonder: Did KD? ban himself from Substack again?…
😂😂😎😎😎
Think the same. Long live KD.

Or the biden pardons.
Before I die, I would like to see both Hunter Biden and Paul Pelosi nailed.
"Nailed" as in arrested and convicted of a crime? Or "nailed" as in incarcerated with a very large cellmate who has violent deviant tendencies?
Your last 2 sentences are EXACTLY what came to mind when I first read about Sassoon. Nobody in the DOJ (from 2008 onward until now) can claim the high ground.
This is disinformation

Seems like they might be providing aid and comfort……

Did a HS essay on old Siegfried!
Cool!
I am a lawyer and am pretty sure that is how it all went down.

Kevin…come back to reality. You cannot build a potato gun large enough to shove Nadlers ass in.
Even the Schwerer Gustav probably couldn't handle it.
So much to unpack here.

"Boy oh boy wouldn’t that be great!!!" Nice allusion to "Animal House" KD?
Listened to Mike Benz on Rogan. He dropped a hint without detail that there is a connection between the USAID bullshit and the charges against Adams.
