With regard to "sovereigntism," I think we've had this for a while, and it used to be called "parochialism," the interest in local issues and concerns. This word has taken on a tragically negative connotation in our increasingly global world and the "citizen of the world" types in particular are opposed to this concept but the older I get the more and more I realize that parochialism is where our focus should be.
I hate that I'm in one of those purples because it means I'll get the utterly shittiest end of the divorce, like I won't be allowed to take my cows when I get sent to live with dad but I can visit them on weekends at the AOC Memorial Museum Of 21st Century Atrocities and mom will turn into an awful, bitchy cougar and loudly tell strangers I voted for Trump.
